Hi! I'm Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by! April of 2020 when the world was preparing to shut down due to covid I made a drastic change in my life. The day before my birthday on April 8th, I left my toxic 7 ½ relationship. While dealing with my breakup and the shutdown due to covid, I started to experiment with making my own skin and hair products as a hobby. I did this in the past but life happened. I got busy and I didn’t have much time for hobbies. I loss myself in my toxic relationship and being made to sit still due to covid allowed me the time to get back to Jennifer. During this time, I started to have some medical issues and began to become very ill. I thought it was the stress from moving, ending my relationship, and trying to navigate this thing called life at difficult period not just in my life but in the world. In August of 2020 I was officially diagnosed with Lupus and it changed my life. I started researching my disease and what changes I could make to help my situation. I started to eliminate unnecessary chemicals in my body and on my body. I decided to start with my skin and hair. Chocolate Butter was born February 2021. My product line has grown but my mission will always remain the same, to provide quality organic skin and hair care at a reasonable price.
