My hair isn't purple anymore, I'm currently a ginger (my hair changes drastically on a regular basis 😂) but that purple will always be one of my favorites 💕 my stylist loves to try new things on me so I'm never sure what color I will end up with when I go in haha. Sort of window shopping your closet but also contemplating maybe getting a couple of items in the next few days! 😉 need some cozy things for the cold weather where I am!

aviatortwin @petrjl01 I’ve always wanted to dye my hair cool colors, but still haven’t had the guts to do it. I have fun with hair chalk sometimes though.😃🌈 Its super cold and snowy in Maryland right now, so I understand the need for all things cozy. I’m not ready for winter!

petrjl01 @aviatortwin Once you have a fun color you will be addicted! Make sure you use a stylist that is familiar with using fashion colors though, it can make a HUGE difference in how it looks if they know how to shade and layer it. (I personally recommend ULTA, they keep their stylists in constant training!) It's definitely worth it, and if they know how to do it right you can switch colors frequently without damaging your hair

petrjl01 @aviatortwin Also, with that purple you can see a little bit of darker "natural" color at the top. My stylist gave me a shadow root so it would be as noticeable when my roots grew out. Also, it worked out well because if I braided my hair just right you could barely see any of the purple and it looked like my hair was 99% natural color (for my professional job) but when it was down it was actually mostly ultraviolet!

aviatortwin @petrjl01 Thank you, very good advice! We have a salon in my neighborhood that specializes in color, I’ve thought about going in. My hair is super fine, so I always worried about screwing it up. I saw one client they did at my local place and she had the most beautiful purple hair I have ever seen, it was ombré in the most perfect way. I’m not sure if my kids would love it or hate it, lol.
