jpurses Tip #1: Follow, Follow, Follow! Building your audience is essential for your closet to get views. I personally recommend finding 5-10 Poshmark ambassador pages and following as many of their followers as you can! Hit that blue button until your fingers hurt!🤣 Having a vast amount of followers brings me to my next tip...

jpurses Tip #2: Share your closet frequently! Now that you have followed tons of people you now have to wait for a follow back! If it is taking a while for people to follow you back I suggest going to each of your followers pages and sharing at least 3 of their items. Most of the time that Posher will return the favor and share your listings and follow you back! Sharing items is a way for you to show your followers what you have available in your closet.

jpurses By sharing other’s listings they share your items to their followers and expose your closet to hundreds of new potential buyers! This is the Poshmark way to promote everyone’s listings and find Poshers new potential buyers. I would recommend sharing your items at least once a day, and sharing other’s items whenever you have free time!

jpurses Tip #3: Take nice pictures, give accurate descriptions, and price your items reasonably! Poshers most likely see your listings in what is called their feed or by viewing you listings in their closet. It is SUPER important you have clean, clear, and vivid pictures of your item! Make sure your pictures stand out!

jpurses Also, it is a good idea to associate your closet with a consistent theme. Something to brand you so that when your closet listings expands and people see your your items on their feed they know who’s closet they’re looking at! (This is not necessary if you only use Poshmark to do closet clear outs or occasionally)

jpurses Make sure you aren’t lying to your buyers! Be honest! Take pictures of all damage on the item and describe the damage in the description! Make sure all descriptions are detailed. The more the better! Price your items reasonably, but $5 higher so that when you offer to likers the 10% discount +shipping discount doesn’t kill your pockets!

msbgolden30 @jpurses you’re awesome thank you so much for all the great advice. I think I need to add a few more details like “ new with tags” maybe?? Or some of the things I only wore once. I don’t have a lot is that ok?
