bbbabe3715 @jpaschal22 I may not be the best to make a comparison as I've never sold on line anywhere else, but I've been happy with the results. I like that it's "social media" based - there are some people I've developed a relationship with all over the country and communicate regularly with or without a transaction though some are " regular" customers! I like that Poshmark handles the privacy of credit/debit transactions, that we're blind to that info.

bbbabe3715 @jpaschal22 Another great perk is that we can purchase using funds from our sales, not needing to use our credit card if we have sufficient funds. I'm very identify fraud risk adverse, so I don't shop online elsewhere - besides, the same merch is likely to be a much better deal on Poshmark! The primary keys to your success are: following others closets - about 50% will follow you back; sharing from your closet, especially during parties,

bbbabe3715 @jpaschal22 sharing items from other's closets - not everyone reciprocates but everyone who does is working for you for free; and listing new items as often as you possibly can. When I started, I'd look ahead at the next days "parties" and try to list everything I possibly could that fit those catagories during those - that kept me building the closet. I had 250 items listed in about 3 weeks time! Of course, I'm on the downsizing curve of life so have stuff!

bbbabe3715 @jpaschal22 It was about 3 weeks before I had a sale. Seeing how I was working on it, my husband was saying that if I didn't have a sale in another week, I should quit. Then I sold a NWT bikini for $135 - he's never complained again! lol Oh, a bit more advice from the Posher who encouraged me in the beginning. I made my first purchase from her so I could even understand how things looked & worked before I listed.

bbbabe3715 @jpaschal22 She told me to include measurements as that's the most frequently asked question and it's not fun to dig things out to do so later! And - the most important advice - write descriptions as if you had no photos & take photos as if you had no description. One thing I'm always asking is fabric content as I find polyester and rayon too hot and acrylic pills like nothing else so I avoid those almost religiously! Laurel
