Tracking on your purchase says “unable to deliver” and “missent.” I’m hoping that the item gets to you, have you changed your address and not updated in PM?

@caseydeuce hi there! This is usually pretty common, my apt. is on a college campus so when our mail service closes at 6, nothing gets delivered. But if it doesn’t come tomorrow once they re-open it may be a different instance.

I am so disappointed - my first ever order with Poshmark & the seller hasn't responded in 8 days. Poshmark even prompted the seller after 3-4 days but no response.
I really wanted the item (have been looking for this to replace one that was lost), but had to cancel the order since the seller did not respond.
This isn't a good first time order.

However, I think it is important for me to emphasize that never once did you contact me since placing the order—since you make the accusation that I did not respond to you for eight days. I am very responsive to reasonable offers and any comments/messages, which you would experienced if you had reached out.

@lizzard700 As you can see from my profile, I am a Posh Ambassador and have sold hundreds of items on Poshmark throughout the years, have an average ship time of 2.8 days and a customer rating of a 4.9. So, it is safe to say that your negative experience and opinion is an isolated incident. Despite your assumptions, your product was mailed and marked manually as shipped on my end earlier in the week—

—I’m sorry that I have no control over the US Postal Service and whether or not packages get lost,stolen or scanned. That all being said, thanks for checking out my closet and purchasing an item, I am sorry that it appears your item had a mailing problem, however I assure you that I did not single-handedly cause you to have a less than ideal Poshmark experience

I got confirmation from Poshmark snd then 5 days later got a note from Poshmark saying they would remind the seller about the order (this mssg was not in response to any inquiry from me).
Other than those 2 messages Poshmark, I haven't gotten anything else and I have never gotten anything from you directly. Nothing that said the order was being fulfilled, nothing that said it shipped, & nothing about a delay in processing the order.
The above are the facts.

If the item had been shipped, there would have been tracking information. I would have gotten a notification. And, the system would NOT have allowed me to cancel the order on day 8.

You say you have already mailed it. In that case, I will gladly pay you the original price plus shipping because I really want this item. Let me know how to do that & I will take care of it when I receive the item.

@lizzard700 that is actually not true. I can’t even recall the number of times that I have had to submit as a seller “item shipped but not tracking”. I also have experienced the same as a buyer, and there have been a few occasions where I have not even received the item due to mail issues.

@lizzard700 due to you canceling the order, it marks the item now as available so it is open to be purchased again. Off-Poshmark transactions are not allowed, so you would have to re-purchase the item and there would be two things that eventually show up as tracking, but the one that actually has the earrings you will not get notifications for since the order was technically cancelled

@k_chalmers I'm confused. You said you already mailed it. If it's already been shipped, won't I receive it even though I cancelled the order earlier today? That's why I was asking how to handle this. But if it hasn't already been mailed, the reordering makes sense. Please clarify and I'll take a corrective action.

@lizzard700 Yes! You will still receive it, I just mean that when/if you re-purchase that the label that gets created will not begin tracking unless I mail an empty package, which I can do if you want.

@k_chalmers Thank you for clarifying. I'm looking forward to receiving the pkg & will then re-order the item so I can submit payment. (from my standpoint, there's no need to send an empty pkg since I will already have the item, so nothing to track).

@lizzard700 I will look at the postage for the number! Everything on Poshmark automatically sends/creates the label via USPS Priority mail (which of course isn’t the most reliable of the options). I got a tracking email earlier this week so I will check that again.

@k_chalmers Good news...mail was late & they were in today's delivery!
They are the earrings I've been searching for.
The two earrings looked slightly different from each other and I realized that one earring has 4 white & 4 gold tassels, while the other has 4 white & 3 gold. It's a subtle difference & I think it'll be OK when worn because they won't be side by side. They are for my niece, so she has final say but I think it'll be fine.

@k_chalmers Although I appreciate the offer, I feel you should be paid... despite the complications, I did get the item. But if that's what you want, I will be happy to accept & I'll be sure to check your "closet" going forward. (I'm sure this mixup was an isolated case, just unfortunate it happened on my first purchase.)
BTW-my niece was thrilled.... We've been looking for these earrings to replace one she lost in 2019 & had pretty much given up on finding a replacement.
