It is truly scary, we spent yesterday in Manhattan and Brooklyn for doctors visits and it was just alarming to see what was going on.
We are as stocked up as possible for this mess, and I hope that you guys are as well.
I belong to a group called Intellihelp and it’s quite alarming to see so many people in desperate need at this time.
Have you been able to find all you need? Are you guys okay?

@brandy217409 no kidding! I do fear it will get much worse here before it gets better. We have an entire group of people that were not reporting illness and taking care of folks within their community- over 10 people home on respirators- over 1,000 in community in one neighborhood going in as usual- weddings, schools- religious services etc
Very scary.
It broke in the media Tuesday night after someone in community called and exposed it.

@katkal oh that’s good to hear!!! I’m shocked by that NY has almost 60,000 cases 😳😬😷... when we last spoke u had 3,500. That’s where IL is now😑 it’s all very scary so you and ur family stay safe and healthy! We’ll do the same... that’s all we can do.

@primpinposh It’s been pretty crazy here. We had two very close friends die this week and they won’t release the bodies. My husband is going into the city today and it terrifies me.
How are you guys doing? I fear unless people start really listening and keep distancing and being safe this will continue to spread. I’m happy to see other areas are taking this seriously and hunkering down!

@katkal we are safe and hunkered down. It’s boring but the alternative is not worth it. At least I can still work at home. I have a bunch of new listings to put on so will be busy with that. We don’t know anyone who has died yet but not taking any chances. I have a sanitizing station set up in the garage for receiving packages. I even handle groceries out there

before they are brought in. Shoes stay outside and I wear a mask and gloves if I do go out even for walks. Other people don’t social distance when I walk and it infuriates me. So, we’re good and have everything we need. You stay safe, Kathy❤️

@primpinposh so smart- that’s exactly what we do it’s becoming the new norm.. Grocery stores have become nothing more than social hang outs. My husband looks like a little old lady with his wipes and mini Lysol spray- it’s endearing really.I think he is really so concerned about the dogs when he read about several cases in China. He changes their blanket in the car daily and disinfects the seat.. I don’t have the heart to tell him they have been running outside and have everything on them too!😉

@brandy217409 We are on month two and going a bit stir crazy here. Still no Lysol to be found. Really getting worried about the economy here at this point. We are seeing many people giving up their pets because of food and expenses.. it’s very sad.

@primpinposh what a week!! We just lost our 17 year old Maia.. heartbreaking... Dobis, or other girl is taking it really hard, they have never been apart. Sure is strange here without her.
You have added some adorable things to your closet!!! Sadly way to many vet bills this month. Going to get those shoes and some scarves from you tomorrow.. have to have a little pick me up... 😉

@brandy217409 oh Brandy, I was thinking about you today!!! We are doing well here, going a bit stir crazy. We lost our 17 year old dog and are heartbroken. The home seems very empty without her, and her daughter is very lost.. it’s very sad. We are looking to adopt a rescue.. Even looking in Florida!!!
I hope all is well with you guys there. I was especially worried for your son. My daughter quit her job, I have to admit I was relieved.

@brandy217409 Thanks for checking in! We recently rescued a big boy from Miami - he is probably a Mastiff mix- and is a real love bug. Poor guy was pretty abused, and is just soaking up all the love he can get.
He is definitely keeping us busy!
