ruth_givens Hi Katie. I am fairly new to Poshmark, so I hope this message reaches you. I was excited that you bought my Ted Baker dress and was packing it with green and pink tissue when I saw a small mark on one of the leaves of the dress. I was so disappointed because the dress was new and I have never worn it. I bought it during the pandemic, and I must have had make up on my fingers when I bought it. I can send you pictures and let you decide if you want to purchase the dress at a reduced price.

kpap1225 @ruth_givens such a small world! We moved here in 2018 from TX. How large of a mark is it? Location? Color? Do you think I can have the dry cleaner work on it or is more of a irreversible dark inky stain?

ruth_givens It's tiny, like a pale pink lipstick mark, and with the way the flowers are painted I didn't even notice it until I began folding it to send. I tried a little water, but I was afraid to use any products on it. Not dark and inky at all. I just wrote poshmark and asked how I could send you a picture. You moved from Texas? I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma! I miss California's weather!

kpap1225 @ruth_givens the stain sounds like something I can deal with. Hopefully the posh people get back to you shortly as a picture would be great :) We were in Fort Worth - very similar weather to Tulsa I think. I miss the thunderstorms but def not the humidity. Lol

ruth_givens Hi Katie. I took the dress to a seamstress friend and she was able to get the stain out. She pointed out a little pin mark that is tiny, but I want you to see it. The dress is just beautiful, but I'm going to discount it to 60 in case the pin mark bothers you. I will repost the dress. By the way, it has pockets, so cool.

ruth_givens Hi again. I'm so bad at this stuff. Will they let me discount it after it's sold? If not, I can throw in a new Ted Baker crossbody purse, brown on one side, black on the other, with a beautiful gold chain. I can't sell it because a friend who worked at Ted Baker in Camarillo gave it to me as a gift and she sells on poshmark. Just a thought.

ruth_givens i checked, and the only change in color is a wrinkle. I ironed it yesterday. It's kind of a taffeta-like dress, so if there's a wrinkle it shows up. The stain was on the flower in the grey shaded area. I took a close up of it and posted it.

kpap1225 @ruth_givens I actually can’t tell there is a stain at all then. I would love to still have the dress and to be totally honest, I think 80 is still fair. You don’t need to try to discount the price or throw in an extra item. So sweet of you to offer, but I would feel like I was taking advantage of your kindness.
