pixiedustpj Hi Kelli. what a pretty picture. Welcome to Poshmark. You'll find that there are many people here that are very generous with their time. Everybody started new and completely confused. I've been here a few months but mostly I just bought things now I'm selling things so it's different. And once I started selling my phone notification for people following me was just nuts. Two to three hundred messages a day like OMG. But it's fun. good luck.🌺💐

ksemchuck @pixiedustpj yes! I just hopped on to see if I can turn the notifications off. It’s all a little confusing the the followers, etc. I would love if you could give me some tips. I’m not sure if there is a way to privately message but commenting back would be just fine. :)

pixiedustpj @ksemchuck when I found my first PFF there's a new word for you Poshmark friend forever. we communicated through each other's profile picture. You are only allowed 500 characters so I talk too much and I spend most of my time backing up and deleting. whatever tips you might want depend on what you want to get out of Poshmark. people can post your items share them, you can share them with a specific person.

pixiedustpj when you go to your account on the bottom right hand side all the way over the box that has your name they'll be sellers pools and when you click on it it will let you place like a vacation hold so if you go away for two weeks you can have that notification so people don't buy your stuff while you're gone. and you can see how many times you shared other peoples items, how many times you greeted and helped a new person, how fast your shipping is

pixiedustpj and notes that people write you back when they score you on your performance when you send the item and they either like how you passed it you send it quickly it was as you described it Etc. I just found out I'm a super fast shipper and I have the five point rating. it's kind of hard not to screw up I've only sold three items so far I've only been selling for about a month. read on the top where it says your guide to Poshmark and Poshmark etiquette

pixiedustpj generally all of those things that I'm talking about go in to making you a Poshmark ambassador. They're like the special people around here where they sold so many Items they have really good statistics. I opened a boutique because I'm selling brand new stuff. And if I have good statistics after I think 10 sales they open another portal where they have a store that is wholesale that you can buy Goods there for you to sell on Poshmark.

pixiedustpj generally it's the Poshmark ambassadors that hold the Poshmark parties. each one has a theme like men stuff or makeup or really Posh like Louis Vuitton things like that. so if they pick one of your items and it will generally find it using keywords and if it doesn't sell during party time you can always have the privilege and recognition of putting on that items listing that it is a host pic or a host listing and it's supposed to elevate your standing.

pixiedustpj when you go into your account on the right hand bottom side you generally always want to go to news because that will tell you every single thing versus if you go to offers or you go to order it's only that news will tell you every single thing that is happening in the community and something directly affecting you like my comment that I made to you you saw in your news feed. they also have a Blog I think it's on Instagram I can't get into it.

pixiedustpj do not feel bad if this is overwhelming it's really steep learning curve and when I first started selling my phone was ringing every second with someone else following me and I was like oh my God leave me alone so now I have I don't know over 2,500 followers and they all happened in like the first week it was absolutely bonkers. they say to try to find people that have the same taste that you do I personally don't agree because that's your competition but whatever.

pixiedustpj friends since my big thing is Kate Spade. So if I see other people selling Kate Spade the hairs come up on my arms because I've caught some Kate Spade people in huge lies. Friends since right now they're giving away this tote bag if you spend a certain amount of money and this one lady is selling the tote bag claiming it cost something like $89. no it was one penny. I called her out in a nice way. I said oh I have three of them coming in the mail soon.

pixiedustpj so do you accept followers when I accept a follower I generally go into there item list and share a few things and then get off and move on to the next follower so at least I did a little bit for them because they decided to follow me so I'm following them back. then they generally come and share some of my items. It is bad though because that's another way Poshmark gets you.You're looking at all their items and then you end up finding something you like.

pixiedustpj regarding sending all your items pack them really nice and just like a Christmas present and seriously go out and buy some thank you notes and write a thank you note. at the beginning I had a lot of cost with shipping materials thank you notes little stickers that say thank you some cute bags to put items in things like that. There are office supplies on Poshmark that sell to the people selling on Poshmark. They sell all the things that you need 2 supply your Poshmark store.

pixiedustpj I really look at it as a present. I wrap it up in wrapping paper with ribbon and a thank you note. I bought from á Posher a gift wrap assortment with tags and ribbon that she was selling because she was moving so I grabbed that for $5. the first lady I sold to said that she couldn't believe how gorgeous it was and she thinks it was great. You have to put in that extra effort. it is all a reflection on you. I also give little extra gifts like facial masks samples of perfume, girly stuff.

pixiedustpj @ksemchuck thanks I talk a lot but I think this is the one last most important thing. I hope you have put in a debit card or a bank account so that they can pay you. When you get a sale and the money is on your account you will see it the top right, a green little circle. you will get paid. If not they will keep the money and use it towards something you buy at Poshmark unless you ask for a disbursement. I didn't know that and I was irked. I want the money!
