kevnn175 @msjrafferty not sure how to go about this, but I know someone who personally has purchased items from a China reseller, sells it in Poshmark as a original for $900, and it PASSES your authenticity test! It’s horrible cause customers are buying knockoffs, particularly with LV bags/sun glasses.

msjrafferty @kevnn175 hey there, kevin, thanks for your note. i assume when you use the term “your”, as in “your authenticity test”, i assume you are referring to Poshmark, not me personally. it’s good of you to come forward with this information, but i do have to tell you that as an independent reseller utilizing this platform, i do “represent” Poshmark, but i do not work for them nor speak for them. so, i’ll have to refer you to them...(more to follow)

msjrafferty @kevnn175 @kevnn175 there are 2 ways you can contact them: you can email customer support, or you can report the reseller thru their page. i recommend the former, as you’ll have the opportunity to provide details. if you’re viewing Poshmark on the app, at the bottom of the page, far right corner, you’ll see a button w/your posh name on it. that takes you to a list of options. scroll down to Poshmark Support, then look for Ask a Question. there’s a button to email Support...(more)

msjrafferty @kevnn175 if you’re viewing on the web, start at the upper right corner, the circle with your initials in it. click that, then follow the directions above. i really appreciate that you feel as i do, that selling knockoffs is one of the worst things a person can do. i personally abhor dishonesty in any form, as someone is always a victim of it. so thank you for raising this issue. please drop me a note & let me know how you make out. jill @msjrafferty

kevnn175 @msjrafferty thanks. I guess the real issue is I can’t report the seller. Perhaps they don’t even know what they are selling isn’t authentic. The real issue is the poshmark “Authentication” process for high priced items. If they aren’t catching knock offs, then that’s a problem.

msjrafferty @kevnn175 well, there are a few pieces to this puzzle. as regards the seller, if he/she doesn’t know their items are counterfeit, he/she really needs to learn the truth in order to make an informed decision about how to go forward with their enterprise. if you were in that person’s shoes, you wouldn’t want to find out the hard way with a rap for selling counterfeit goods, would you? not sure why you feel you can’t inform them, but please think about that...(more)

msjrafferty @kevnn175... whether or not the seller is doing this knowingly, there are still folks out there who are unwittingly buying fake goods. that’s not cool. again, i can’t imagine why you feel you can’t report the seller, but that’s something only you can decide. you might want to reference the two points above and give it another thought...(more)

msjrafferty @kevnn175 ... now, if your point is that you feel Posh Authenticate is not doing a thorough job, because you are certain the items this person is selling are counterfeit, yet they are “passing muster”...i still think that’s something you need to bring to the attention of Corporate - because that hurts EVERYONE. tell me, what would you like to see happen here? knowing that might help me to better advise you. jill @msjrafferty
