@lcobb07 - we all need to get our follower numbers up so that when we share our items we have a greater chance of people seeing them. Our items hit people’s feed, but so does everyone else’s and then there is the fact that people don’t check their feeds that often. Some people add Posh Ambassadors from the “Find People” option. You can increase your number of follow backs by going a different route.

@lcobb07 - Our closets have several links across the top and the last 2 say “followers” and “following”. Each night that time permits, select a couple closets from one of those links and hit their “followers” link at the top of their closets. Anyone you aren’t following will have a blue “follow” button. Run down that list of closets and hit all those blues.

@lcobb07 - Not everyone on Poshmark follows others, but by using the “followers” link, you can see people who do and that will most likely follow you back. It looks like you are on the east coast so the best time for you to do a mass following is probably somewhere between 7-8pm. The west coast is 3 hours behind you and by selecting this time most people will be off work or getting off work soon.

@lcobb07 - I think you will see your follower numbers grow rapidly. Make sure your best items are at the top of your closet before you start following since they may see them when they follow you back. You will end up following more people than follow you back, but that doesn’t affect anything but who is competing for space on your feed.

@lcobb07 - my other recommendation is to try to list 2-3 items a day if you have additional stuff to sell and can find the time. Many of us believe that Poshmark’s algorithms see closets that add regularly as more active and fresh. We believe that Poshmark directs more people to closets that meet that criteria. I know that when I add regularly, I sell regularly (and not just the new stuff added).
