lks826 @seasew so if I want to sell things from my closet, do I just take a picture and post a price? How do you know if someone wants to buy it? And how do you get paid?

seasew Yes! That's exactly it. The most important thing I would suggest is to take good photos in good lighting with a blank or simple background. The nicer your photos, the more chances you get people who have a lot of followers to share you listings.

seasew Also, Poshmark takes 20% profit from any item you sell so keep that in mind when you decide on a listing price. Once you sell an item it will be under your "balance" tab under your profile. Three days after your item has been delivered to the new owner, the funds will be released to you and you can retrieve it by direct deposit or having them send you a check.

seasew Once you sell an item, Poshmark will email you a shipping label that you can put on your package so you don't pay for shipping. The post office also has special boxes and linen envelopes that are free for anyone to take. They say "priority mail" but you need to make sure they don't say "flat rate" on it. Hope that helps

lks826 @fashionwoman15 hi! Welcome to poshmark! One of the best ways to make sales is to share others items, because then they share your items in return. That helps get your stuff out there. I always follow anyone who follows me. I try to keep my prices low to increase my chance of selling. I also am all about taking my offers and negotiating price. mpp2108 @lks826 Lauren, Hi! You were at my closet earlier. you shared the Kate Spade large tote cheetah bag. At 9PM this evening I put everything in my closet at 15% Off for 15 hours. Even if something is on sale and has had multiple mark downs, it still gets 15% off. The Kate Spade Tote you shared is an item with all those factors. Let everyone know about the 15%.
