bounty_huntress @lavettebell Sorry for the late reply! I'm just now getting on while eating dinner. The buyers pay for shipping. Occasionally, like on weekends, Poshmark will encourage sellers to mark items down and offer to cover the part of discounted shipping but that is for a limited time. When the event ends, it's over.

bounty_huntress So if you discount shipping to 5.95, (outside the event) for example, the seller pays difference between what is normally charged and the buyer pays the difference. I normally choose 5.95 shipping. I think the difference is 1.72 that I end up paying. Does that make sense?

bounty_huntress If you choose to joint a "clean your closet" event w discounted shipping on PM, just lower your price and then hit next at the top of the page. That way PM automatically puts discounted shipping and they will pay the discounted price. Once the event is over, it will go back to regular shipping price. I made the mistake and after the event. Some events require discount shipping when you lower the price. You can see your charges by looking at your item for sale and what you make.
