they are 13 1/2" at the top and 13" at the ankle. This style of boots is not meant to be fitted and it is a short boot only 9" tall. it is also a structured leather that will not slouch or wrinkle if that makes sense. I went on their website hoping to find a photo of someone wearing the boots bit no luck. let me know if you have other questions.
