My son & daughter in-law live in Pensacola so we are looking to relocate to that area very soon, also. We're about 5 hours driving right now. We love it around Destin, have been to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, St. Augustine and the Keys. My husband is originally from the Pacific coast, so probably will end up on the Gulf! 🌊

Right now you don’t get a whole lot of house for a lot of money here, the area is hot. But let me know if you need some hints of what areas to look at!

shoeaddicted2 @lorimckimmy Thank you! Oh! We're learning a lot about real estate in Florida! My husband is online looking every day. We look at properties there all the time when we go. Perdido Key is an area of great interest, but Wow! Definitely in & around that area and Pensacola. We are looking for a suitable lot to build but we have time, no rush. My daughter in law is waiting to take her test for her real estate license right now. They want to start with rentals, which is perfect for the gulf area.

lorimckimmy @shoeaddicted2 my sister-in-law was relocating from Fort Lauderdale and really wanted to live in Saint Pete pier found out very quickly she was not going to get the house of her dreams on her budget! She had great luck in Sarasota it’s an area that is rapidly expanding. I can only imagine properties being built not too far from the expressway that are going to double in value over the next 10 or so years!
