msjrafferty hi there. it seems you’re new here. you may have heard that poshmark is a place to get great bargains; many sellers — including myself — can & will often negotiate. but each seller has their own business strategy. i feel i price my items fairly, in line with what similar items are currently selling for. this particular piece is actually priced about $10-$15 too low. i certainly don’t price to create margins enabling me to sell for 50% off my asking price. that’s not how this works. ...

msjrafferty ... please remember that poshmark takes a fee of 20% out of every seller’s proceeds. if i were to sell this item to you for $20, they’d send me $16. that doesn’t even cover my cost. the bargains here refer to the fact that you can buy items for much less than retail price. the trick to finding those bargains is finding the items that are new or like-new condition (as all mine are) & well priced. you won’t find bargains by making offers so low a seller cant afford to consider them.

msjrafferty ... i hope this makes sense to you. i’ll send you a reasonable, fair offer for this piece. then it’s up to you, your budget and your motivations. i’m being MUCH nicer than many sellers might be in this situation. i’m a Posh Gold Ambassador and i believe it’s more beneficial to take the time to educate a new member rather than get angry and block that buyer. ...
