weetziefaerie @bebeange That’s awesome! I just got a coach out here in Madison. I’ve been off the ice for years due to lack of access to a rink in the locations I’ve lived in. I’m holding off on competing until I’m at the adult pre-bronze level. I’m still trying to get the jumps and spins back that I had when I was younger. Maybe I’ll see you around sometime at a competition in the Midwest!

kraska97 @bebeange Oh wow! How often are you practing? How long did it take to get to freeskate levels? I am so upset because I always wear size 4 in rentals and followed Jackson's sizing chart and foolishly bought mine skates online and they are too small. Have a short fat foot!

bebeange @kraska97 I have been skating since 2004. I think it took me about 1 year maybe 1.5 years. Get your foot fitted by a professional for a nice boot. ask your coach to help you. i had my foot fitted with S.P.Terri's. love them. they are like slippers on my feet. my blades are the Maxtrix's. which is super great. not alot of toe pick. super good blades. I only sharpened them about every 6 months. they hold a edge really good.the rocker is super excellent. you can do those three effortlessly.
