void_frog @aq_artisforever Yeah, polyurethane plus old leather kind of deal. Honestly it reminded me of garage sale hunting when I was a kid lol! I'm airing it out, but then will probably go over it with care with some vinegar and linseed oil making sure not to mess of the beautiful paint job. Airing it out is 9/10 of the battle so it's getting there :)

aq_artisforever @meeschamouse the poly is the sealer on the paint which intensifies when it's in a tiny box in the heat. Cant do a thing about that, wish I could. The purse was bought new after Christmas so maybe that's a heat thing too. Ugh I'm sorry. Maybe I'll but dryer sheets in the boxes or something from now on

aq_artisforever I have to clean all the leather with rubbing alcohol before painting to get the wax off so other than the sealer there's nothing on it. Honestly out of every protectors I've tried armor all works the best

I have 'ways' of getting rid of stains as a formal employee of David's Bridal, I consider myself and expert at such matters haha. Would it be possible to add a photo? I'm easy going if there is hope :)
