My undergrad degree is in Fashion, love every bit of it. For your daughter, if fashion is something you truly love, pursue it but know it's not easy. brasscandy @melissabass2 it's totally ok! lol!! ok, so, if the dress you have is 19, that means this dress will be a little longer. It measures 25.5... If she wants it shorter it can be altered to meet the 19inches of the dress you're comparing it to...

brasscandy @melissabass2 i'm assuming (i don't know her height) the difference is the dress stopping at her calf (this dress) instead of her knee (the dress u have now). OR (depending on her height) your dress stopping at her thigh and this dress stopping at her knee...
