malak68 @kldatl You can: 1) send a heavily discounted offer to “likers” only. 2) Change the price temporarily for the items you choose by editing the listings (and can edit back, if wanted, at a later date) 3) do a “price drop” that everyone will see on the items you choose - they will show up with a permanent price drop sale price for everyone who looks at them until they sell.

malak68 @kldatl I don’t actually know. I started at the end of April. Memorial Day wasn’t very busy, but with the 4th being a 4 day weekend, not sure what that will do. I would say run a sale the entire week, not just the couple days of the holiday. That way you get people before they leave and when they come back if not on the actual day. (But, of course, that is just what I would do.)

I’m the first girl in my family to go to college so the fact that I went on to get a doctorate was enough of an accomplishment for me. ;-)

malak68 @kldatl my daughter wants to be an attorney! She got an internship at Bloomberg this summer and really likes there. Hoping they will Ofer her a permanent job and pay part of her way through Law School. Fingers crossed! Princeton doesn’t have a law school (or medical school), so she’s trying to figure out her options. Maybe take a year and work while preparing for the LSAT. We’ll see. (And I stopped after my undergrad, so you have me beat!! 😊)

If you don’t have many attorneys to give her some guidance I’m certainly willing to speak with her. Law school is not like any other type of school and ya have to know what you’re getting into. 😉

It is actually possible to own too many bags (who knew?) and they end up unused on a shelf. I’m hoping they can go to new homes, be used as intended and do something good all at the same time. malak68 @kimsikorski One of my favorite pastimes is conditioning the leather while watching tv. There is something very satisfying about gently working the conditioner into the leather. It is the feel of the leather in hand and knowing that you are doing something to prolong its life. It is satisfying in so many ways. I’m going to miss having so many bags to take care of - but they should be used, and it is for a really good cause. 😊

I decided to sell of most of my collection to benefit the Cancer Center of Rush University Medical Center here in Chicago. The bags and scarves should be used be enjoyed and used. malak68 @sherid10 I’m donating to the Cancer Center of Rush University Medical Center here in Chicago. The total pledge is divided between the “Doctors’ Discretionary Fund” (either for research or equipment or any pressing need that the group decides upon) and a fund that helps cover unreimbursed costs for patients (a discretionary fund that covers needs from transportation to co-pays to housing for people who travel in for care). So many of her items were never or rarely used - and I know many of mine only come out for conditioning. And the scarves are really beautiful! They deserve to be used and enjoyed instead of stuck in my closet. It seemed like win/win/win. 💕

malak68 @kellygates58 It is! 2 of my kids are on the East Coast at school now(Princeton and Andover - a high school outside of Boston), but I came back to Chicago where my folks are. I always look forward to visiting the kids in the Fall. We have good colors here, it there is something about an old campus in the fall that is just so beautiful! (That might sound like a lot, it it isn’t.) During the event, if your item is selected you get an email to let you know and the person who chose it will post something on the item.

malak68 @robbiegirl13 They were also probably shared by a lot of people because they were selected. This is great for you because it means you gained a bigger audience. There is nothing you HAVE to do, it there are a few things I would suggest now: it is nice to thank the person who selected your items (the people doing the event put a lot of time into it); if you are not already a follower of theirs, follow them; follow people who liked your item.

malak68 @robbiegirl13 Thanks!! For your Posh Ambassador stats, from your closet, click on the arrow at the top left which brings you to the main menu. It is broken down into various sections. Scroll down to the grouping starting with “My Sales” (a nice recap of every sale and price). Below that is My Balance (to get money transferred to your bank), and then My Posh Stats.

malak68 @robbiegirl13 That’s the one that brings up all of your stats (number of listings, number of sales, how fast you ship, your ratings, shares, etc.) At the top right under when you joined, it has your Ambassador status. Click on that and it will give you your progress on attaining Ambassador status. They have some nice tools to analyze sales if you know where to look. 😊

I think they maybe are not always be at that address - perhaps it took an extra delivery attempt or so, but she accepted it as soon as delivery was complete and gave me a good rating. malak68 @creepingedge I, unfortunately, removed the photos and info I had on the money clip when I changed the device I was using to list. IFrom the best of my recollection , it was purchased during one of my husband’s business trips to Europe about 10 yrs ago. I think it was in Italy. It was an example of the “web design” in colored enamel on sterling silver. The ID number was 86198B 7740.

malak68 @creepingedge I did see one somewhat similar once. It had the same stripes but was quite a bit lighter and narrower and had a faux buckle in silver as the main focal point of interest vs the look of a screw on name plate that mine had. Mine was, I think, just under $1000 at purchase - but I don’t remember if the exchange rate was good or bag for us at the time. Most money clips are quite a bit cheaper, but ours was a very unique style with all of the original packaging. I hope that helps!

malak68 @creepingedge yes, some of us also post on Vestiare-Aire (if I don’t write it like that, the message gets blocked by the system because we are not supposed to talk about any other site here😂), but by the time you add charges to ship it to NY, have it inspected and authenticated, and pay for international shipping and possible additional tariffs, it ends up costing a pretty penny. It certainly is cheaper to go this route!😊

malak68 @gss5 I reached my goal for the cancer center donation and then donated to global COVID relief followed by a resource center for the homeless. I am currently donating a portion to building wells. I am no longer donating everything because some items don’t belong to me, but rather are items from family and friends, so it depends on the item.
