mcejkarichter @ang6682 In order not to crush the daylights out of the tote it has to be shipped in a box the postal service considers "oversized".

mcejkarichter @ang6682 According to usps.com shipping will cost $50 even though it weighs less than 6 lbs. I contacted poshmark support twice and they keep giving boilerplate answers about using "recommended boxes" and at one point saying that a padded envelope might work(!). It's like they're not even reading my email.

ang6682 Ahhh yes. I get packages every week from here that have postage due on them because most post offices don't check the size when you drop them off. Fortunately posh always reimburses me. You must be very far away from me in by if it is that much extra $$$. I don't mind if you have to fold it a bit to get it in smaller box.

ang6682 The shipping labels def have their flaws/downfalls. But I really would like to try and work this out. What if you just wrapped it in some paper then wrapped a plastic bag/black trash bag around it tightly.

mcejkarichter @ang6682 Yes - I live in Seattle! I pushed back again to poshmark support and got this: "Any extra costs will be automatically deducted from your earnings/credits." The straw is pretty stiff and I'm pretty sure the folding required to get it into a qualifying sized box will permanently damage it. I'm so sorry this didn't work. :(
