demonhunters Hi, concerning the dress you had purchased from me. As you stated the measurements were correct and yet you given me a two star rating for being too small for a size 8. You should have asked questions, prior to making the offer and I would have given you more information. This was an expensive dress, that came directly from a bridal store. Formal wear tends to run one to two sizes smaller than street size clothing.

demonhunters My mother for example is a perfect 8P, but in formal wear, could wear a size 10 to 12 depending on the style and the designer. I never follow a designers standard size chart, because all the styles are different. The more fitted the dress, the smaller they tend to run. Formal wear is just like purchasing a wedding gown. No one forced you to accept the dress, which could have been returned. But since you accepted it, I can't do anything.

demonhunters Cocktail dresses that you may purchase from Dillard's or Macy's maybe true to size. I hope this information helps you, when looking for formal wear. Tony Bowls, Sherri Hill, Jovani, Mori Lee and Terani Couture are samples that runs small. I am sorry,...

demonhunters You should have contacted me first, prior to accepting the dress. Explaining a situation first helps, for I have selling for over 10 years on eBay before to Poshmark, Once you accept an item, the funds are released and my hands are tied. Poshmark does have different polices. What was the dress going to be used for?

mpncoordinator I'm new and that's the first thing I bought. Now I scrutinize the measurements. I don't know if I can ever lose enough around my bustline to fit into that dress. Maybe I should try selling some of my good dresses I never wear.
