marlalance2 Hi Rynda I checked the boots for you. I don’t know if they are wide leg but they are too wide for me. I measured them. The top of the boot is 8.5” across with durable stretch material on both sides in the back. The ankle measures 5.5”. There are zippers on both sides for putting them on and off. Measure your upper calf and see if you have some give. See if you measure a little less than 16”. That would be the top.
