nikirenee727 @imalilcupcake I sold a pair of used boys Adidas for $9. I only washed them. She was super happy at first with the cleanliness, etc. She then updated and said that they fell apart and accused me of gluing them together. She didn’t ask for a refund and was not specific on what exactly went wrong with them. I apologized and asked her to be more specific and also offered her the $9 back. I told her I would never glue shoes together ..She hasn’t responded. How would you have handled that?

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 ohhhh you have a case of Scammer-itis! I'm so sorry to hear about this, I've had my share of really unbelievable situations too and I've only done this 6 months. As far as I can tell, most people are great. But there are a few that just ruin it. Usually if the person is telling the truth, they go to posh immediately and file a complaint. Sounds like she didnt do that because posh would've contacted you for you to state your side of the story.

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 The other scenario is when the buyer just rates you unfairly knowing that they either didnt read the description first, or they broke it or something was their fault. Sounds like case 3 for you....

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 since this person hasnt responded back, just go ahead and block them. if they really felt it was defective to begin with they can choose to go the appropriate route and file it through posh.. but o can almost guarantee that won't happen

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 to your original question, sorry got a little off track cuz I've been in several unfair situations with buyers and it always upsets me..... I think you responded just fine. You offered to refund and there's nothing else you could do or offer, so rest knowing you didnt do anything wrong and this situation would've happened with someone else at another time because its inevitable. I hope that helps hun!

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 yw hun. I have been on the poshmark roller coaster and have finally come to accept that these things are part of the game as a seller. I've had 2 scammers, which isnt bad considering I've sold over 300 listings. my 1st was when I was brand new so I think ppl take advantage of newbies unfortunately.

imalilcupcake @nikirenee727 tbh I think ppl scam off the little things cuz its easier... they can get away w it vs scamming for a 300 purse or something. posh cust service bends in the buyers favor the majority of the time btw. just try to cover all your bases, and know that it's a reflection of them and has nothing to do with you!

I never received the order even though they were reported as being delivered. I live in a safe area.. so after I ordered this pair (I don’t know what I was thinking), I saw the post and it makes sense.
