bekka686 @teerexbaby someone asked if i could lower shipping on a pair of shoes..how do i do that and how do i know how much to drop shipping price?

teerexbaby @bekka686 you can do it two ways. One way is you go to your item on click on offer/price drop, then select offer to likers. That lets you send an offer to anyone who liked it and you actually HAVE to also offer a shipping discount. Shipping is generally 6.79. You can offer either 4.99 hopping or free shipping. Either way, the discount comes out of your earnings so be careful if you are not making much on the item, it can be a big chunk.

teerexbaby @bekka686 the other way to do it is to ask them to bundle the item. Then you go to My Bundlea, pick sell to see your selling bundles. Once you find her bundle, you can make an offer with shipping discount. Doing it through a bundle is a bit better bec the offer only goes to that buyer. In an offer to likers, it goes to all likers. You also have to offer a price cut of at least 10 % in an offer to likers. In a bundle, I don’t think that applies. Let me know if this makes sense.

teerexbaby @bekka686 one last thing. I just found the listing where she is asking for the discount. Her suggestion of just offering two dollars less is actually a great solution. The lowest shipping discount you can offer is 1.80 off, which comes out of your earnings. So if she pays full shipping and just offers you 9 instead of 11, you end up in more or less the same place. (11 with shipping discount gets you 6.25. 9 with no shipping discount gets you 6.05. Basically the same.)
