janawalsh I just saw something called use my.com & it’s a course for PM. It’s $18.99 but lifetime 24/7 access. Think I might do it. YouTube does have some good free videos though. Let me know what you find. We’ll figure it out together. Oh & I took a PM Zoom Live Show class. Doing my first Share show 2/19 I hope! Will you be there?🤞Im still learning too.

janawalsh @mrclosetman yes! And the blue plus (tray) is open. You join show, Click on tray, blue plus, pick a dress, and “share to host”. When you see in tray you will put in price, 30 secs and click auction. It will ask you for auction details.

janawalsh @mrclosetman you can leave after they sell. Always thank your host and follow them. Also good to click on others in show & follow. People will do the same for you! You can be in more than one at same time. Just watch so you’re there when your item runs!!! Good to share other people’s things! Super important.

janawalsh To get more followers, when in a Live, click on names & follow. They’ll do the same. Also good to heart items in tray & when they don’t sell click them & click “share” to your followers. No matter what it is. Make sure to go back & un-heart everything or you’ll be getting offers on them. Sounds like a lot to do, but it works. I always heart the whole tray at the start so I’m ready to share. Then un-heart before leaving.

Pack them up & mail using free priority boxes from post office. Anything under 5lbs in one box. Put packing slip in, tape up w label & ship. I print 2. 1 to mail. 1 for my records. When I accept order PM pays you!

With clothes people buy for themselves mostly or for someone else & keep. That’s why I custom bid up the second dress. So you wouldn’t lose out from dropping list price.

mrclosetman @janawalsh I did try joining couple of lives yesterday and was able to list but all Unsuccessfully 🤪 . Just started following all hostesses. Sent out your order. Thank you again. Have tons of dresses. My wife has a very expensive taste. But sometimes doesn’t even wear what she buys and then just sits in the closet taking up space. Hopefully my little project with Poshmark pays off.

janawalsh @mrclosetman Remy is adorable! My sister used to have English bulldogs. Make a daily strategy that works for you. Getting in Lives is good & it’s hit or miss on selling every time. But it gets you seen & followed. Tap on everyone that joins & follow. Let them Know you’re there. I can’t even get in tray a lot of times but will participate in show. Have gotten to know people and they recognize me. And buy from me now. It takes time to build.

janawalsh Check your “Likes” above the News feed & bundle every one. You don’t have to send an offer “discount” every time unless you want to. That’s why you want to list things higher than you expect to sell…gives you room to make lower offers. And be able to “auction” in Lives for less. Share other’s closets or item’s frequently. If you need to know how let me know. Having a daily checklist of things like this helps.

janawalsh There are a lot of tools you can use in your closet. Add as much to your closet as possible. Change up scenery on photos. Keeps the eye & interest moving. Even adding something other than a dress here & there just for interest. Something to go with a dress for example. Hats, bags, jewelry, scarves, things that aren’t size restricted. Even something off the wall & unexpected. Have fun.

janawalsh You can order something from someone else to list. “Like” something and let them make you an offer. You can accept or decline & counter offer. See how that works. The. Sell it or Reposh it in your closet. I always sell instead of reposh. But I will Reposh your dresses so your name will stay on them for visibility of your closet. Just a few ideas.

janawalsh A few ladies I know do daily Lives & sell vintage jewelry $3-$5. Tray runs photos and people chat. You can get a few items there to sell for MUCH higher. Look at my Kate Spade necklace in my closet. I sell KS bags a lot. I got that for $3! Not ready to sell because I’m sending it to a posher friend I met who loves it & going through tough time w her mom who has terminal cancer. She wants it but can’t spend $$ right now. @vintageglee has all kinds of new jewelry every day. Check her out.

janawalsh It looks great! You do want to keep listing style consistent. Keep your base & change up details here & there. Background, color, plants or whatever. Maybe add in those accessories. Double whammy for selling when someone looks at one thing they’ll see something else they want. Keep the wording part consistent too. People get used to the way you present information. You’re doing a great job! I’m just giving you ideas.

Go to auctions/Live shows whenever you can. There’s something 24/7. Keep following people. Choose 2-3 days to do auctions for a couple hours. Have to give it time to build. I’m excited you’ve sold 5 dresses already! I’m doing my first auction soon. Maybe the 16th. Hope you can join! Will let you know.
