samanthagreenb @ejnyc hi!! It is one of the original 1960s bags and the stamp is worn off. I had it verified at the flagship Hermès store in NYC and poshmark checks the authenticity. Hope this helps. Make me an offer! It is a beautiful historic find.

mooninthewest @samanthagreenb thanks! The blind stamps are usually stamped into the leather, could you double check to make sure it isn’t there? I’ve worked with a lot of Hermes from my time in the fashion world and I’ve never seen one wear off. I also don’t recall that Hermes does authentication- usually they accept pieces to be cleaned or repaired. Did you have this cleaned at Hermes? Thanks! Sorry for the questions, I’m really interested and just want to make a sound decision before buying.

samanthagreenb @matkanyc hey, no, do not apologize for asking questions!! Yes I know what you’re referring to and the stamp on the leather isn’t there. And yes, I had the bag authenticated and cleaned at the Hermès store about 6 years ago. I bought the bag about 10 years ago from a fabulous vintage store in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Bag is beautiful color and very special. I’m moving and pregnant and trying to sell off some stuff from younger years 😊
