cottagegifts My mother’s family was from near where you live I think. Noble County, she attended Oklahoma A&M back in the late 1940s. Now it’s OSU I think!

cottagegifts @flashyredhead Yes! I’m the family “genealogist” somewhat. My mother wrote down some stories, like the time during the dust bowl years that she was in a dust storm as a little girl while walking home from a friend’s house. She had to cling onto a fence to know where she was, and her mother was worried about her & was doing the same thing. The dust was so thick and stinging their skin. They couldn’t even see each other & bumped into one another!
