hairxtraordinar @cog111 Hi!!! Thanks for visiting my closet and thanks also for the nice comment. About your hair...I do both chemically treated & natural hair. My advice to my clients on healthy hair is the same whether it's natural or chemically treated. I've had several clients that have had issues with hair falling out after giving birth. I believe it's due to all the hormonal changes we go through during and immediately after pregnancy.

hairxtraordinar I always suggest that my clients start with a healthy diet. Lots of whole foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables is best. Usually what happens on the outside is a direct result of what we have going on on the inside and what we put into our bodies. Hydration is very important as well. Drink lots of water.

As a result, our systems are depleted of the vital nutrients that keep our hair, skin, nails, teeth in the best condition possible. It helps if you continue to take your prenatal vitamins even after you've given birth.

hairxtraordinar @cog111 After my last child, I continued taking my prenatal vitamins for about 6 months after she was born. Those vitamins work so well in giving your body those nutrients that we need so much. Usually, the hair that falls out does come back. There are hair products that you can use, but those are just topical and only mask the true issues on the inside.

hairxtraordinar @cog111 There is one product that I have used and it's great for thinning hair. It's called Nioxin. Maybe you've heard of it. It's a whole product line that focuses on thinning and hair loss. It should be available in your area. Also you can try combining some of your locks to make them stronger.
