torbiejane Hi Sharon: I have a question about one of your items for sale (the Nashville-Finn Comfort shoes)--is this the best way to reach you? I'd like to know what the "S" means in the description--does that mean Narrow width? --Victoria

sdsherbert @torbiejane Hello - thank you for your query. The “Nashville-S” is the style name of the manufacturer. It does NOT mean narrow. I think the “s” stands fir “soft” footbed. That is the manufacturer name so I can’t be certain.

torbiejane That makes sense--thanks--and the "D" means "Wide," I see--Could you please do a favor for me and provide the length measurement in inches from the tip of the toe (exterior, at the outside of the seam) to the outside of the heel? I have one other pair of German shoes (size 42) to compare it with -Much appreciated!

sdsherbert @torbiejane the "D" on the Finn Comfort footbeds are actually not representative of their width! Finn has a number of different casts they work off of and the "D" you see is actually the last (or mold) they use for making that style. These are medium width.
