dreweden lulz I thought at first you were saying YOU search for Jordans for over a year. but, trust, ppl def search for Jordans for over a year. the term you might have seen is "grail". hence, grailed the website. a note on those websites, such as stocx, fight club, etc - those prices are more or less FAKE. if you see someone post a screenshot to their listing where they try and imply they are offering a great deal comparatively, just know those prices are 3z higher than what we expect to pay.

dreweden as far as YOUR grail, the iridescent 95s (and those are really cool, btw) for one thing, don't assume ppl know what to call them. you should be daily searches for just air max 95. on the famous auction site you can set a saved search and check it so often. if you have tons of time, don't even search for 95, just search for air max.

dreweden and if you have a LOT of time, don't even look up air max, just browse Nike by brand, sorted by just in, category shoes. you can find incredible deals that way, don't tell anyone tho it's my big secret...like I got brand new triple black 90s for 18$ before...you can def find a pair of those iridescent 95s on the aforementioned sites, but it'll cost you around 400-500 I'd estimate. you'd get a brand new pair tho

futbolslick @dreweden Thanks for the helpful tips, I can always use them. One question if you don’t mind, what was the actual site you said people can find really good deals, I’ll keep it hush hush. You’re 100% right about StockX and GOAT, they are pretty high on everything, learned that the hard way. I appreciate your help, like I said, I’m fairly new to the game but am learning all the time. My collection is going to be for me and not to resell.

dreweden the site is....drumroll....Poshmark! but, get this - I found you a pair of ur iridescent 95s, if it was purple u were searching for...size 11.5, good condition, 130$ or best offer. go to the oldest most famous auction site, the one on thee bay, and search for "363653736784"... that's the 'item number'...

dreweden if that doesn't work for you, the actual "name" isn't iridescent, it turns out, but "throwback future"...you might be able to find better ones for cheaper, now that we know the name, these were just the ones that immediately popped up and taught me the name...

futbolslick @dreweden those aren’t the ones but nice. I posted a pic on my page along with a handful of others that I got fairly recently. Those grey “Recycled Jersey” ones are sweet, one of my faves but still you can find them brand new for $125 - $135ish. Anyway, thanks again.

dreweden @futbolslick those recycled jersey 90s are freaking awesome. and I've never seen em! you got the mint green 98s? I watched a pair go for 30$ in great condition on the other place, they sat there for weeks beforehand. felt pretty dumb afterward.

futbolslick @dreweden no doubt, I had never seen them before either. You know when you see something for the first time and just have to scoop it, that’s what happened with those. Honestly not sure why they aren’t more well known. They came with alternate laces too.

dreweden @futbolslick yo, another protip, and I don't know WHY such an easy detail is overlooked, but fake 98s say "alrmax" on the tongue instead of "airmax". Not saying ur mint greens are fake; they aren't, but there's lots of fake 98s and it's hilariously easy to not get fooled. the other "silhouette" I'm into is Air Griffey Max and Diamond Griff, if u haven't seen em I'd recommend a look-see

futbolslick @dreweden Yeah, usually if a deal is too good to be true than it is. Market is huge right now and there are a ton of fakes. I almost picked up those Griffey and Griffey Jr. Air Max about 8 months ago, I wish had. I left out a pair of Air Max 95 Recycled White Classic Green that I got a while back, I haven’t seen them much. I’ll add em to my pics along with my 9&’s red and white, I actually wear those sometimes. Almost all my shoes I don’t wear and haven’t even put on but maybe once.

dreweden there's a kid here selling the "white freshwater" and "emerald freshwater" griffeys, both for 150. size 11.5. he def wore em but they just came out so they can't be dinged up. its a deal too good to be true, but he verified, and I don't think he's that aware of current rate. cuz they just retroed the griffeys and where I used to pay 50$ for very nice specimens now ppl think they can get 100$ for their beaters because the rereleased are going for 300.

futbolslick @dreweden I know, it’s crazy out there. My way of thinking though is like we were saying earlier, everyone and their mom buys Jordans 1,4,11,12 etc. and Air Force 1’s. A lot of people buy Air Max but wear em out and save the Jordans. It’s an overload which will backfire at some point. I’ll check those you’re talking about, thanks.

(this time I am joking) the title of the wires article is, verbatim, "The Sneakerheads Racing to Save Their Kicks From Decay | WIRED". it's more of a journalistic investigation, there's lots of cold hard facts to learn elsewhere after. suppose we should just be thankful that our beloved air maxes are still less popular, and haven't turned into NFTs or whatever
