suzzanne_p @jamesdbarber thanks. I was assuming I would be able to modify the hem but whomever did the last alterations cut the bottom of the pants in a very jagged manner and glued them to make the new “hem”. I’m not sure if I can let them down given the glue situation or not. I purchased for my father in law- throwing a surprise anniversary party. I’ll have to get him to try them on in advance.

lamblittle1 @fbmalsick23 oh I saw your message which is a good spot. it looks like she's been inactive since October. what usually do to see if someone is always checking messages, is I will ask them " if I make a purchase from you, how soon will you ship it out?" It gets their attention more.
