tahmill @mangomoood just wanted to check on the status of my order- it's been showing waiting for a USPS scan for two days now, was it shipped already? I'm using it for a newborn photo shoot next week so I'm trying to schedule around when I receive this 🙂

mangomoood @tahmill Argh this has happened to me before with our post office :-( I dropped them off to their counter yesterday. I think what happened last time as well is that despite dropping them off, they didn’t get scanned in until the next day.

mangomoood @tahmill I’m going to the post office in an hour to pick up a package I missed a delivery for and can try to follow up. I’ll have to file a complaint about this branch as well :-( (we have issues all the time with our courier too) I’m sorry, I am sure it will be scanned today when I talk to the branch manager

tahmill @mangomoood thanks so much for checking on it! When I drop off packages our office scans them within an hour usually so I was worried when it said that for so long!

mangomoood @tahmill yes very true. Before we moved, our other town’s post office scanned them immediately. Here, I’ve given it to the courier at 10am and asked him to scan it and he’d say “yes I’ll scan it in my truck right now” (and I even give him candy as a thanks) and all day and all night on Posh it will still say pending 😡 then the next day sometime in the afternoon it says it started tracking :-( my neighbor is going to be here in half an hour to hold newborn so I can head to the post

mangomoood @tahmill ok sorry for the delay! I went to the post hours ago but girls just got to sleep now. So the post master says it was already scanned. I asked him why if they already scanned it would it not start tracking yet and he said he had no idea (so that was no help).

mangomoood @tahmill I’m not entirely sure I believe him as under his supervision, mistakes get made A LOT on our route but nonetheless there was nothing more I could do or probe into about it. Hopefully the tracking will start tonight like last time this happened
