travisrising @frostyla What in world is going on with this site!?! I HATE social media, but it seems like selling on here requires you to make this a full-time job. I'm feeling overwhelmed (sorry to dump this on your lap).

frostyla @travisrising Yes it is a chore. I have found that sharing at least 3 times a day helps your closet to be seen. And to actively follow people to get them to follow you back. The more people that are following you tbe more people see your closet when you share it. For me it is pretty much a full time job. I spend about 5-10 hours a day between sharing, listing, following and helping other Poshers get the most out of their closets. Hang in there. Do what you can, when you can.

travisrising @frostyla Okay. I appreciate the quick response. One more thing that's screwing with my head (and forgive me if my explanation is lacking as I'm still trying to get a handle on all the various functions of this site): I have attempted to "share" three or four times, and yet when I look at my "stats", it says I have zero shares. I Googled it and it seems I'm doing correctly, so I don't know what's going on.

frostyla @travisrising those "shares" are when you share another Posher's item. To see how many times you have shared your own items clicknyour icon at them bottom. The scroll down and click on "my posh stats". That will show you several categories.

travisrising Thanks! I found it. Too many sub-menus, etc on this site for my liking. They take 20% but then they make you do LITERALLY all the work. lol. Good grief.

frostyla @travisrising Glad I was able to help. I noticed you have asmall amount of followers a d that you are not following very .any either. When you share to your followers only those people that follow you see it. To get more followers try following others. Many people when you follow them they will follow you back. Building up followers can really help getting sales. If you any other questions feel free to ask anything.

travisrising @frostyla Why am I beginning to feel as if this site is a scam? Most absurd, arbitrarily concocted nonsense I've ever encountered on a selling platform. I appreciate your reaching out, but I think I've concluded that I'd instead prefer to have a life rather than sitting here all day "following" people I've no interest in purchasing from. frostyla @travisrising i am sorry you feel that way. It is in no way a scam.This has helped me.to be able to become a stay at home Dad over the past year. Was laid off about 2 months before Covid hit. With out Poshmark I do not know where my family would be. It isn't for everybody I understand that. It is a different way to sell that is for sure. Good luck with your future endeavors.
