wendimb You got your closet started. Congratulations! Now what do you do? I have lots of tips in my closet if you need a place to start. Here is an example: Tip - If someone asks you to take the transaction off of Poshmark (they want you to email them, call them, or go to another site), it's almost always a scam. Don't do it. BTW I hope your items sell quickly!

valkizy @threegirls123 thank you so much I actually do have a quick question. What would you say is a good time frame to wait before dropping the price? How many likes should I wait to receive before I do that? Or is it length of time?

valkizy @kimmando I'm getting a lot of followers but not a ton of likes. How can i improve this? After how many likes is it a good time to price drop? I only have about 15 things up but I had an inventory of close to 100 things I need to get up.

threegirls123 @valkizy This is a great question. First of all, there is no model that works great for everyone. Many vendors sell different products at different prices. Few vendors make tons of cash and the majority make only a couple of dollars. There are numerous examples where different vendors sell the same exact product and their prices could be 2-3 times different. Astounding? Yes. You need to look at how you market your own account. The image should represent your price.

threegirls123 We sell our products at very affordable prices while we maintain high quality. We had offers where factories offered to us various products almost free (as far as we bought them in bulk) and we decided to save our reputation. Though we could sell dresses, shirts, and hats for $10 or less all these products were not good enough so we get horrible reviews.

threegirls123 If you look at our page then you could see that most products we sold were rated with 5 stars!!! Long-term business is more important to us than short-term profit. We drop prices only for returning costumers, bundles or those sizes that are less popular.

threegirls123 We could also drop the price when Poshmark runs promotions or the business is slower than ever. We have offers for our products on daily basis. We do not know how many people offer to you a lower price and therefore we could not suggest anything at this point. When you drop the price all your likes will receive a message that you lowered the price. Will it create any extra sales for you? You could always try and see if it works.

threegirls123 You also need to remember that people can buy your products only if (1) they like it and (2) they have enough funds on their accounts. Lowering the price before major holidays usually works. Please remember that low price could suggest to many costumers that the product has bad quality.

If I'm taking the time to post a quality photo 100% of the time then psychologically it would make a buyer tend to believe that what I'm selling is going to be quality. And if someone is taking all that time then 9 times out of 10 it will be. Makes sense. Uugghhhh now I want to redo my store. Lol which won't be hard I have 15 items. That was seriously the best advice i got so far. Thank you

threegirls123 You could price something at 100 and sell it right away while you could not sell the same for 40!! Try changing the price. If people do not buy from you then go back to what it was before and try a different method later.

Usually the week before any major holiday, couple of weeks before Christmas, Thursdays, Fridays after people receive their paychecks etc. Also remember that there are different time zones in the US and busy time in NYC could be different from LA.
