resalechic Julia, I have a question- I sold a bundle but one item was mistakenly included (Indigo Hand jeans) and really she wanted these other jeans. I said I would switch them out but I do not know how. If you know, please let me know. Thank you so much!

resalechic @iqclothessavvy Julia, some jeans were accidentally chosen for bundle when she wanted another pair that was not chosen instead. Can I trade the jeans out? How do I fix on app? Does she need to cancel order and re do it? Thank you!!

iqclothessavvy Great question! Kinda of complicated. Might take a few comments so please go slow with me. Was the purchase made through the OFFER button, one submitted an OFFER and the other Accepted? Offers are binding. Did buyer build the bundle then purchase without making an offer? Buyers who buy without using the Offer have 3 hours to cancel their purchase. They can cancel.

iqclothessavvy As a seller, if you ask the buyer to cancel or you cancel the purchase then the buyer might not come back to purchase. If you ship something they Really Truly do not want you, as seller, run the risk of receiving a bad or lower than 5 star rating.

iqclothessavvy If it was me, I would probably Create a New Listing that included All the Items that buyer says they want at the price you agree. Then I would have the buyer BUY that listing you just created, up to 8 pictures and 500 character description, especially for them. Once they Buy and it goes through, Then, only then, I would cancel the order they accidentally bought.

iqclothessavvy If they don't purchase the new listing you create then they probably are not a serious buyer and you would have lost the sale anyway. Just part of business. Do Not send anything other than what they purchased. Do not send the 'item they wanted' outside of Posh. You can lose a case and your money and your items.

resalechic @iqclothessavvy yes they made an offer and I accepted. Then she commented on a pair of jeans in the bundle might be too small and also commented on another pair of jeans if she included in bundle bc she meant to. However they were not included in bundle so I told her I would be willing to switch out these jeans for the ones that she did include in bundle but are too small of a size.

iqclothessavvy Now, When the Buyer Cancels the item will be available back in the closet. When the Seller cancels a sale the Seller will have to upload a new listing if they still want to sell that item. Buyer Cancels item is Available. Seller Cancels, item shows Sold in their closet forever and they have to upload a new listing to sell that item on Posh.

resalechic @iqclothessavvy ok. I just want to do it the right way so there is no problems or miscommunication. Would it be ok if I posted the jeans she wants as not for sale and ship those with bundle and then relish the jeans she decided she did not want that were included in the offer for the bundle? Would that work?

iqclothessavvy Personally I would never do that. I would create a new listing, keep everything on Posh, keep items being shipped exactly as items on the order. Two things could potentially happen. You ship something outside of a Posh purchase then Posh could close your closet for Off Line Transaction.

iqclothessavvy Buyer can file a case against Seller because they did not get the items on their order. They just take a pic of the one they wanted that you sent and Posh sees it is totally different that the one on their order. They might get to keep the items and you lose your money.
