cb14075 If you’re so dissatisfied with the charm that you only give me 1 star and leave what appears to be a very nasty comment ( though it’s difficult to understand), then perhaps you should open a case and let Poshmark decide. I strive to be an excellent Posher, with a 5 star average, so I would appreciate more details regarding your rating. Otherwise, how can I know what needs to be improved?

tropicofcapri @cb14075 My intent is not to be "Nasty", I basically stated my experience. I'm an avid collector Pandora...with that being said, every Pandora charm I've purchased on this platform is taken to my local Pandora Retail store for Authenticfication and cleaning! The manager and 2 other store associates whom examined this charm under their store microscope and lubes, are the ones whom informed me that this particular charm couldn't be given the Pandora seal of authentic.

tropicofcapri The 14kt gold drop in the center of the starburst, is what they repetitively told me was the reason they would not authentic it. The manager told me, " while the markings indicate Pandora, the center gold dot/drop appears too be that of rose gold, or a changed soldering event occurred". I was then instructed to take the charm to reputable Kay Jewelers or Value Pawn to have the Gold dot tested. So off I went to my local Value Pawn,

tropicofcapri so the manager, used the gold alloy identifier test kit in front of me.... I had too give the okay to scratch both sides of the supposed 14kt gold dots, on the stone slate then and the drops of reactive solution... after waiting for a minute he nodded his head No then stated too me..."this is some king of alloy but not 14kt gold...maybe rose gold, or something else".

tropicofcapri I then showed him my posh order information and he stated," send it back... because the test results from the chemical shows it's not 14kt gold as advertised, although the charm looks authentic". I tried to open a Posmark investigation for the issue to get a resolution, but the timing has surpassed the 72 hours too do so...because this item was delivered while I was out of state, my findings and review was done after I returned.This is the reason my rating was indicated as such!

cb14075 @tropicofcapri I personally purchased this from a licensed Pandora jeweler - a store called Reeds Jewelers that has been in the Buffalo, NY area for many decades. It IS a genuine Pandora charm. I bought this when Pandora was just starting to become very popular. The people who “examined” this are, without question, wrong.

cb14075 @tropicofcapri rose gold IS gold so his statement is suspect. I had a customer tell me she had a ring she purchased from me tested and it indicated it was NOT gold even though it was stamped 14k. I was shocked but accepted the return and went to my longtime jeweler who tested it for me. Interestingly it came up as 10k gold. So the buyer obviously was lying or didn’t know how to correctly and accurately test metals. So I stand behind my statement that this is an absolutely authentic Pandora.
