Meet your Posher, Vidya

Hi! Lovely to meet you. I'm Vidya (she/they). I'm Colorado-born and -bred (my cover photo is a picture I took in Steamboat Springs, CO last winter), so I love being outside in nature. Currently, I'm a PhD student in philosophy at the New School for Social Research in NYC. As I transition to professional life (teaching! eek!), I have been slowly upgrading my wardrobe, thanks to a little help from all of you. When it comes to fashion, my focus is environmental impact: I care about shopping for vegan and sustainable clothing (and buying clothes on Poshmark helps us all reduce our environmental impact!), so you'll find pieces in my closet from brands such as Everlane, Nisolo, Reformation, Mango, and more. You'll find occasional pieces from traditional retailers as well (especially petite items from brands such as Ann Taylor). My main goal as a seller is for each item in my closet to find a loving home. (I know that's a bit corny, but I think Marie Kondo is right that every item in one's wardrobe should spark joy.) I believe in transparency and think it's important to show you exactly what you're getting, including any imperfections. I make every effort to provide measurements so you can be assured of the right fit, but please feel free to ask questions if you need more information!
