Hello fellow poshers! My name is Tasha . I've been on Posh for 1 year. After being laid off as an oncology MA. I decided to invest FT on Posh and enjoying every moment. I recently got hired as a flight attendant and start training tommorow for 4 weeks . mcjayne @tlovelucchesi I'm in LOVE with your Tiffany blue buffet...did you finish and paint that yourself? My mom @lcooke whose also here on posh does things like that all the time and it's so impressive to me! lcooke @tlovelucchesi @mcjayne Wow, sounds like a woman of my own heart. I knit & crochet & recently got "hooked", excuse the pun! On restoring & painting furniture. I love milk & chalk paint & love, love any shade of turquoise. The macaroons where my Mothers forte, not mine. I would devour them much too quickly unfortunately. It's very nice to meet you. Thanks for directing me to such a lovely Posher my lovely daughter ❤️

tlovelucchesi @mcjayne @lcooke So nice to meet you two lovely ladies! Yes that is an old dresser I got at a yard sale that I painted myself, I also found an antique desk that day that I painted the same color ,but a shade darker, and distressed with a garnet red.

tlovelucchesi @mcjayne aww thank you , I am very proud , she is a straight A student and wants to be a doctor! Very proud of my older daughter at Berkeley University and my 2 talented sons...Are those your 2 daughters on your " love lives here posting , they're beautiful !

mcjayne @tlovelucchesi Berkeley!!! That's incredible! What an accomplished mama you truly are, your children wouldn't have the goals and aspirations they do were it not for your input too so I hope you give credit where it's due! Those are my girls...they keep me going when I think I can't keep up my battle (I'm in a big cancer fight😍) and my mum @lcooke is my everything...she is always holding my hand and squeezing it in spirit...I'm surrounded by STRONG women and recognise a bit of warrior woman in you too😜thank you for sharing yourself with us complete strangers...you have a beautiful life and it's good to see someone enjoying their family. So glad to meet you on here.

tlovelucchesi @mcjayne Thank you so much ,it's a pleasure meeting you and your mom . I don't know first hand what your going through with your health ,but working as a MA in radiation oncology I have met the most incredible,greatful,pleasant people fighting Cancer. I learned to be so much more appreciative and gave me a different outlook on any unpleasantries or crisis I've had to experience. What I do know is that the mind is the most powerful tool in dealing with this disease and as hard as it can be sometimes , a positive attitude is the key to healing and get the most out of however long we have here. My prayers are with you and your precious family.

mcjayne @tlovelucchesi @lcooke truer words were never spoken...I've been telling my mum for the longest time that I felt as if I got cancer for a reason...that if I could help someone else for even a minute then it was worth the pain and humiliation I sometimes feel when I don't feel good for days on end (multiple myeloma is my gift lol...only 3 hip tumours though so far😍) I'm blessed to be on a trial and I'm lucky enough to have an incredible nurse advocate, two phenomenol doctors and incredible care at huntsman cancer institute here in Salt Lake City as well as a Dr in Japan who personally engineers my chemo...I'm BEYOND blessed and truly mean that. Tasha, it made me proud that you learned from your cancer patients and I'm sure you passed on a lot of grace to others in your career...thank you for being such a classy lady...😘 I knew you and my mom had that in common for sure. 💖
