kmeower I had endometriosis as well! the recovery was the worst.

lissy26 @kmeower geesh you did. The recovery is the worst, but the sad part is the endometriosis returns at some point. I'm much better that they removed the endometriosis, but I don't well around you know what every month. For 2 weeks prior leafing up I get intense back pains and very intense cramps. But I cope. Have you ever heard of the Violet Petal project?? It's a project where they ate researching a drug for endometriosis but you have to be picked as a candidate, because the drug is not on the market yet. Basically become a lab rat for two years with them on this project. I actually signed up for it. Just waiting to hear back from them. 😞

kmeower See I never knew I had it. I woke up one morning & had excruciating pain & I think it was a cyst that ruptured so they decided to go in and look and they said I had it pretty bad to my age. I just had really bad cramps, if it wasn't for the cramps they would've had no reason to look for it

lissy26 @kmeower wow that's crazy, but also a blessing that it happened in a weird way. Because you would have probably continued to be in pain and don't know why. Geesh. The only bad thing with endometriosis is that it comes back. I mean the birth control helped me for a long time before surgery, but I stopped taking it. They suggested I go back on it, but don't want to. I just try to deal with the pain around that time of month.

kmeower That's why they put me on birth control continuously, like I never have a period. so I never have pain anymore! I'm worried about not being able to have kids later on

lissy26 @kmeower that's one of the reasons I came off of it. I've been trying but it's just not happening. It makes me sad at times, but I'm praying I'll be blessed to have a little bit. Keep faith and keep strong, try not to worry too much even though I'm sure that's easier said than done. The pills just help ease the pain, but it's not a solution. So much right!!! Sigh 😕
