Hi Posh ladies, Let me share a little on myself... I used to be a flight attendant and I love shopping all around the world. I married my sister's best friend, and settled down in SF Bay Area. Now I'm a mother of a super-active 19 months old boy and thinking of having another baby. My size varies from XS to Large as I gained at least 50 pounds during pregnancy so there will be a lot of selection. That's all ladies! Thank you for checking my collection!

ex_globetrotter You guys have the best grooming standards ever! It's expected that no hair is out of place and the kebaya fitting very nicely. 😊 I heard from ex-SQ friends that it's stretchy so they make it smaller so it hugs the body? Oh, that's nice...A380 flight? Love flying on that aircraft. I left before they cross trained the rest of the crew on it too. I'm a Boeing girl.LOL! Do you miss flying?

I love the food the shopping and the teamwork (I don't miss the kneeling n apologizing part tough) but still I think it's easier than being a mom!! Even after 13 hrs flying (to lhr from sin) without resting I never feel so tired as I am now!! But my hubby hates me flying that's why he forced me to quit and confined me here.. Lol.. Will you come back flying Trina?

4nastasia @ex_globetrotter no.. The material is a normal cotton !! Not stretchable at all!!! If we loose weight or gaining weight we need to go to the tailor and alter the uniform.. You're right about the grooming standard.. Very strict especially for junior ( they check the colour chart and also accessories that we wear) ;p ., lol. I heard a lot of stories about emirates grand accommodation in Dubai . Is it true??? Where r u come from??

loveandresell2 @4nastasia I miss it, but I think flying for an American airline is SOOOO different than flying for a foreign carrier. I officially work for Continental. They're supposed to have the merged contract with United done by July of next year and I'm VERY afraid that I won't be able to return because I'll be too junior to have a line. There's NO WAY I can have 2 kids, a husband who flys, and sit reserve in IAD (that's my base). We'll see how it all pans out, but fingers crossed! I REALLY don't want to quit. 😁

ex_globetrotter Yeah, I heard about the color chart per cabin. Ours is pretty simple, red lipstick and suitable make up for your skin type. Although, some girls try to be cheeky by not wearing red lipstick and wearing too heavy make up like they're going clubbing. 😱eek! Oh dear, that must be tricky that you have to have your uniform altered to fit every time. Whereabouts in Singapore are you from? I lived in Lakeside for a few months a long time ago. I'm originally from the Philippines and now call CO home. 😀

4nastasia @trimadesirar lol.. Totally understand !! I found some of my fellow colleges was crying before going to report for flight. Their children were begging them not to go... :( so sad... And after the flight they would dash to their room to have a Skype with their family ;) . In my case I was still working for months and based in Singapore after married while my husband already live here in SF. He got really mad because we can only see each other once a month either in lax or JFK. Then my mom in law passed away so I quitted and company him here.. SIA told me to come back after 2 years. But it's already almost 3 years since I quit so it's kind of hard for me. @ex_globetrotter I'm 3 fleet trained 777, 747-400 and A380 believe me the last one is the worst.. I know Ek put lots of FSS to serve PAx on those fleet but SQ only assigned 8 FS/S and 3 Ls/s to serve more than 300 pax in YCL., so we tend to run away from those flights :( esp. HKG flight.., my friends will pay extra $ 300-500 to swap their flight with one day off !! And believe me., our make up on board is sooooo thick... Thicker than going for clubbing !! Based on my opinion our looks is better without it!

ex_globetrotter I understand. I always Skyped with then boyfriend who became my fiancé on layovers or back in Dubai. The Blackberry helped too with free worldwide BBM. 😜 I usually saw him 2x on a good month in either SFO, LAX, JFK, IAH. We can only do 2 ULR flights per month so I try to bid for them. I came here on a K1 visa almost 2years ago. Gosh! Time really flies so fast. ✈️ My 💗 belongs to Boeing! Lol! But, I was type rated on 777-200/300, A340-500, A330-200. Recurrent is not my fave time of year. 🙈 EK said I can come back anytime but that option is something I won't explore anymore. I have to be where hubby is and I'm happy where I am. Your little munchkin is adorable. 😁 Where are you based now?

4nastasia @ex_globetrotter I just realized you're from Philippine . OMG...I love Jose Mari chan !! Very hard to find his albums. Last time I went to Manila and try to buy them. As we're landing very late all the shops were already closed.. :( (only naraya will purposefully open their shop for us) lucky the receptionist was very nice. She wanted to become aircrew. She helped me bought them., my next mnl ns I got it from her!! Can't forget how nice she is! Me n my mom love the mangoes too , lucky the hotels always provide them for free :)

4nastasia @ex_globetrotter oh ure 345 crew! Lol that's our fave so far.. Coz the allowance is highest as it's only fly to lax and ewr nonstop +\- 15-17hrs. Only 100pax all business and the crew will stay 7 days outstation.. So nice!! My date was with 747.. At least Twice a month nrt-lax and fr-JFK.. Only a group of crews were still trained so were blessed, although it's old n lots of problem but all the crews operating were very senior.. Now Sia sold all 744... Currently I'm staying in SF Bay Area..it's nice here.. But I miss my family ..
