I want to get certified one day-to teach children's yoga. 🌸 I practice alone because its my time for meditation as well, and any classes that I might want to attempt to attend do not work with my work schedule. But that's ok 😊 I do love a good class tho-with a hands on instructor that can adjust me (especially in revolved side angle pose and in prasarita paddotanasana) 😁💕

I totally was in the same boat! Didn't like my hair until I was 22! Now I love it! Except the ever-multiplying greys:) trying to hold off coloring as long as possible! They are so prominent in my dark hair:(

@jkdressler I hear ya hon. Don't go permanent color-do a Demi permanent/color glaze (washes out over about 10 washes, not harsh). I get that-it brightens my color and stains the grays so they look like highlights 😎

Ah gotcha!! Yeah I don't think anything will sway her to sell that to you. Which is so sad. Especially since it's not even one of the ones she was looking for. She goes on nearly every thermal listing and says "if you have any, reserve for me and make the price high so nobody else can take it" even before they have listed them. @andine You should start with gentle flow yoga, get used to basic poses, and then move on as you feel more comfortable/need more challenge. In between try restorative or Yin as they both are more relaxing and Yin has you holding poses for longer periods of time. Is your diet pretty clean?

@andine its all those artifical sweetners that are BLAH on your body all over. Switch to Stevia or raw honey or even sugar in the raw/turbinado. Much better for you. With soda tho its the caffeine and artificial crap combined that gets you. Giving up the artificial gunk should be your main goal-and then do caffeine later. If you read research there is so much they have found out about that crap, especially Equal and the aspartame ones, and even the splenda. I would make some big pitchers of your favorite green tea and drink that when you are thirsty, along with a little bit of stevia. I also make a water with ginger, lemon, mint and cucumber. Cut a bunch up, stick it in a pitcher and pour water all over it. Let it sit for 24 hrs, then strain into another container and drink up! Its a good way to flush nasty out of your system and calm your tummy.

Not that I eat a lot of that but I prefer salty to sweet. 😁 and I am trying to steer clear of GMO and gluten too. Give me a project, all or nothing, right!? Ha ha.

@andine ah a cheese girl! I stay away from gluten too, and get snobby with my cheese (either goat milk cheese or grass fed). I don't drink milk but I will have Greek yogurt. My diet is about 90% paleo, but I do have brown rice and quinoa and my gluten free bread. And I always cave to my salted caramel. Yum! And I've found some killer paleo recipes, including baked goods 😍😍😍 google "stupid easy paleo" and "fast paleo"

@andine its running true in the arms but larger in the torso. So if you have a bigger bust/need room in that area, a medium would work well for you! Thank you both!! @susanleeyogi @shoppatterns well...I am 41 and was thinking I should forget about losing. But this weekend has given me hope!! I will definitely stick with it, hard to believe carbs are so bad!! I'm not even craving carbs right now! And yes, cheese is non-carb too (Parmesan, Swiss, cheddar, Munster) - so nobody can take that away from me yea!! Ha ha! I will let you know how it goes, again, thank you both!! @andine its the type of carb that you are consuming-the white/processed/gluten carbs can wreck your tummy and are generally not good for you. Gluten is fine (I have a gluten issue) if its not over processed and more whole grainy. I still eat grains (quinoa, brown rice) but I prefer gluten free goodies. And I love steel cut oatmeal. The flour that I use is usually almond meal/flour mixed with a good gluten free flour from Trader Joes.

I will check that out, thanks! Love oatmeal! I switched to soy milk on my latte too.. And half decaf. I think that is just psychological. I feel the same energy from a half decaf that I do from full on caffeine. And that's the only remaining caffeine in my diet now... ❌ No chocolate. ❌

@andine ack no chocolate? And no caffeine? LOL....yes I have my vices, I have my one cup of GOOD coffee in the morning, and I will have my sweets but I usually prefer caramel (GOOD caramel) and stuff like caramel apples and if its chocolate I use cacao nibs in my baking. I have rules about vices-they better be worthy calories! I wont eat just anything-if its not made by hand or fresh or with good natural ingredients, I wont eat it. Its like gluten...I avoid it as much as possible, but I will eat it if it is WORTHY. Like take for example this pizza place we like-they make authentic Neapolitan style pizza, use local sourced or organic ingredients, and the flour they use is spectacular. They bake it in their from Naples brick oven, and its heaven. Worthy calories for sure!!!

lol mine is a big goof too! He is so confused by my Posh life lol ! He thinks you all like live close, even suggested all of us getting together! I told him gladly....,, I'll just need plane tickets to California , Texas, and a few other places and we can certainly all get together! Men.....lol! I taught high and low ropes courses at camps for the YMCA when I was in my early twenties. Nothing helps you break a fear of heights quite like that! 😁 one of our favorite places to go is Flagstaff-the hiking and scenery (and food!) are all incredible. And the dogs love it ❤️❤️

Would you believe I am the only long lived redhead in my family for a few generations? Most had red hair when born and then lost it, or have traces of it in their beards LOL :-) I think your hair is glorious!!! It takes a special person to own red hair, no matter what tone it is!
My family heritage is Viking, Celt, Portuguese and who knows what else? All I know is that we are very pagan and elemental. Where is your family mainly from in the viking regions?

The moment my hubby comes home from work, it's play time. My baby Getti just turned 9 this month, but he's still so playful, I think bc we've fed him Science diet his whole life and not some cheap stuff. When my bff comes over, he goes straight to the cabinet where his treats are kept, and just sits there staring at the cabinet... @susanleeyogi that is too cute!!! Mine is super chill....has been like this since he was a puppy....never went through the typical rambunctious puppy phase (thank goodness because he didn’t destroy house, furniture and more importantly, my shoes!)
Regret not getting him a puppy pal so he could run amuck with.
