gerrimil7 @luvgrasi I know this is irrelevant but I really need to know the answer to this question. When someone goes to Afghanistan do the Amy pay the soldiers rent and give the family a check? Just wondering because my brother just left and my aunt is saying that a check should go to my mother because my brother is over there. I really don't know though, so I'm asking you because I see that you are a honest woman and your husband went to Afghanistan.

luvgrasi @gerrimil7 oh wow that's a big answer to such a itty bitty question.... It totally depends on how your brother set up his account with the army - meaning if he put his moms name on his checking account( like a joint account) so if he did that - then yes - but not too many soldiers do that- it also depends on rank. He gets his basic pay/ which includes different things in itself - hostile fire pay (for example: for being deployed overseas in a dump of a country:) hardship duty pay. Also, it depends on if your brother has a lease or a mortgage dependents or not is married or not- really their can be several different ways it can go and I can explain to you - without knowing rank,years of service, and all the things I mentioned - it's hard to totally determined (myself) how and where his pay is set up- if he set his mother up as person to receive his checks and put her name on the account than she will get payment.. As what you are referring to as "rent" - if your brother has a dependent then their is pay for that and spousal pay too if he is married .. I mean if you want to give me a lil more to go on / my husband totally knows how much he would be getting for the most part-it's standard for everyone in all categories- does that make sense.... I will say this .... Just as a FYI and something that I know tht has played a huge part in helping us and my husband... The VA.... Save ALL medical papers from beginning of deployment even if its a simple cold or going to the ER for stitches/ you never know what in the long run will effect the outcome if he ends up getting injured even in the least littlest way- it doesn't have to be a life threatening event for the VA to help out- I wish you and your family all the best- out of all my husbands deployments - afghan was the absolute worst- on my end- didn't help that we just had had twins and he was shipped off soon after- but that place .... we just need to get out .... I can't imagine its ever going to get better - I know we started a situation. ...and we have to finish it .... When is enough enough.....? Ya know!! These soldiers.... Do so much !!! And the families .... It's very hard rough on the families.. the kids .... It's very sad. I hope I answered something of yours - I have a tendency to ramble... And for that I am sorry! I'm asking about it because of my auntie and because now my mother needs help financially and my aunt thought that my mom can get a check to help her. But let me ask you this, would the Army be paying this separate from what they are paying my brother? Would it be coming out the money that they are paying him? But as far as the rent, he has to have a dependent living with him to get his rent paid? Is that right? I'm trying to figure this out because our mom needs some financial help. I know my brother and if this is coming out of his check that the Army is cutting him then I don't know if he will help her out. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Gerri

luvgrasi @gerrimil7 ok let me see if I can explain this in the way I think I took what you wrote.... If I didn't ... then write me back- but... The paycheck your brother gets has all what he qualifies for - be it spousal pay with or with out dependents. If you're referring to like child support that's totally a different matter- has nothing to do with army ( if that's what you're even asking if not.... I just am saying that to not confuse you) if he has a house - like my husband while deployed ....we had our mortgage,car payments, but yet we didn't have him doing his civilian job being deployed,so the army takes that into consideration and compensates for it( it isn't anything close to his civilian job but it helps) also their pay is tax free- which is really nice! is your brother young? Did he just enlist /first deployment? I ask because if this is his first ( it sounds like it is only because of you not being sure of money - but then again I really don't know about my brothers money :) )

luvgrasi @gerrimil7 sorry about that... Anyways, yeah if he has it set up in his name - which usually soldiers/guys do ... The checks will deposit monthly - month after month and just grow in balance- he will need very little to anything over there- meaning he really doesn't need to access the ATM much- he will get a travel voucher for 5-7$ daily ( in that area) this he won't get til the end I believe - but it adds up- it's for incidentals they pay for- he's going to have a nice balance in his account - not that he doesn't deserve it- but a lot guys that are younger/newer to deployments/ don't have a lot of responsibility or bills/family .... Ya know what I mean .... My husband has seen a lot of guys just totally blow the 20 thousand or whatever they will make in the year... Because it is such a shock to them at first- so hopefully this is not a concern of yours- especially if your family needs help medically - and he's not willing to help a little- but yeah any money he gets - its his for going to that war zone / and its all in the check that gets deposited It's not like ...ok here is 1 check for 250$ for housing Here is your 2nd check mailed to so & so for 150$ for being deployed overseas ... 3rd.... It's all combined in one check every 2 weeks and if I remember right it's split up over the month so the first months check might be higher than the second but they are the same every month.... Does this make sense?

Some of these young soldiers are out of their mind to just blow that much money. But like you said they have no responsibilities. rkgeyer Awwwww, you didn't think I was being nice about you selling clearly fake LVs on here and pretending you didn't know they were fake?! You r very transparent, pretending u don't know if its authentic, cause you sold one just like it to someone else for 45 bucks with the same exact listing then you got rid of the listings altogether, but not before you wrote some nasty stuff to me. You clearly knew you were not suppose to sell that kind of stuff on this site. You're just mad cause I nicely said "hi, sorry but this is def not authentic, the tag says it all. FYI." rkgeyer Of course you have, I saw them last night. You deleted both listings, one that was sold for 45 bucks and another that wasn't yet sold for 75. Both exactly the same. I could have reported them both but instead tried to let u know cause at first it seemed as though you really didn't know the authenticity of the LV that was listed for 75. So I wrote to u so you'd know. Then I scrolled down and saw the same one but it was sold for 45. That's when I knew you knew. No body sells REAL LVs for a fraction of what they really cost. You turned an innocent and helpful comment into this. I don't appreciate you calling me nasty and snotty when that wasn't my intension at all. You said in your comment that u can just hear my voice, how could you I'm writing ( I know what u meant), but u took it all wrong, u don't know me. You should know better than to judge anyone! You could have asked me what I meant cause you weren't sure of the tone of my comment.

That Prada wallet I got as a gift- which I clearly stated- I have no clue -never saw a Prada before - which I clearly stated- I don't care for them - which I clearly stated- I am a Burberry girl- which I clearly stated- I was totally honest with that buyer from the get go- my Lord I sold the thing for like 16$ I think- you rambled on about putting a fake listing up and then taking it down - something about 45$ - I had no clue what the hell you were talking about - you sound like a complete freak! I made that comment regarding your response / b-c I am so sick of coming across girls that act like they are so concerned and are looking out for another female on here- but yet in the wording and choice of words that they use - it is so obvious that they are being mean, disrespectful, and just plain cruel, and that's how you came across - their is a way of saying something in a genuine matter when someone feels compelled to do so and be nice - or their is a way just to be a down right brat- Ya know I scan thru Burberrys all the time (constantly buying too many) on here and I am completely taken back, totally amazed by the amount of people who ask to a seller (selling a down right ugly-ass totally so obvious fake) burberry "is this authentic and how much can I buy it for" and my jaw is on the floor because (in my opinion) it's so incredibly obvious that it is fake and not real( idk ... There are sellers out their that might not know what they are selling is fake if it is! More know ... Then don't.... - if ya don't like what someone has listed - They make a button for that... Ya never know what's going on in someone's world or in there mind...you never know when you say hurtful or mean words / or come across with a mean attitude...even if it's @ something so trivial If you don't know 100% what's going on in that person's life- it's really best to just keep what you want to say to yourself.... You know nothing about me - except seeing "my face" when you pulled up my profile... I am more honest about what I sell usually way more than what Iam buying .... I put people's feelings first all the time- I have probably lost money than made money because of who i am I have sent 4 of my coach purses away - for no reason at all - for no money - just because - I have been told "thanks" many times over just for talking up a normal conversation and vice versus - b-c it's not all about the money to me.. I have had my feelings hurt( when I shouldn't give a rats ass/ but I do cause that's who iam) by careless heartless girls that feel their opinion is so damn important that they can't keep their lips shut ... Yeah-deliberately selling a fake item...deceiving....isn't something I have/will/ or ever do....
