It is also used for pulling buggies and its unusual gaits make it a popular parade horse. The Saddlebred has a fine head with wide-set eyes, large nostrils, and a long arched neck. It has a high-set tail and muscular quarters. The Saddlebred looks fiery in action, with elevated, agile paces, but has a docile temperament. It is also comfortable to ride.
