Memoirs of an upcycler ♻️👗👖🧥♻️

I’ve always been an upcycler. Before the term upcycling even existed, I was upcycling my clothing. I’ve only recently started to put my designs out there & up for sale. I’ve been sewing most of my life, & I’m primarily self taught. I never “learned” how to sew from anyone. It was something I just did, bc I was naturally drawn to it. It was another outlet for my need to create & my high amount of creative/artistic energy. It eventually turned into my main creative passion, bc I’ve always loved clothing. To me it’s the ultimate form of self expression. It’s wearable art It you’re into supporting sustainable fashion, check out my closet. Almost everything I have for sale is my own design/creation. I use second hand items, mostly thrifted, but also worn out clothing from friends/family, & my own items that need an upgrade. My jewelry is a mix of disassembled thrifted items I reassemble with new parts & pieces. The majority of my items are affordable for pretty much everyone. The higher priced pieces have a lot more time/materials into them, & are items I’m probably in no hurry to part with. I love everything I make, & I literally live in my own creations/designs 🖤
