modafor1 @davie1696 the way “quartz” watch can be automatic is if the watch itself is working with a mechanism called kinetic and many companies use the system for example Seiko but they call they watch kinetic and movement helps charge the battery! In 25 years of collecting watches I have not come across plain quartz automatic watch but I also never been lucky enough to buy Tank De Cartier for $300!!! Maybe next 25 years will be lucky for me but I doubt I get another 25yrs!! C’est la vie!
