Recently discovered sterling silver tigers eye ring. My guess is my dad purchased this ring in Mexico in the 1950s or 60s. The cabochon tigers eye stone shows great chatoyancy (the shimmer of light play) in the bands of the stone. In folklore, tigers eye is said to promote mental clarity, enhance self-confidence and attract abundance and prosperity. My guess is the ring size is 9.5 or so. Stamped “sterling” inside the band. A nice subtle men’s ring.
