Men's Vtg New York Mining Club Necktie Pair of Men's Ties Chocolate Brown 1950s

Stunning pair of vintage men's neckties from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Both men's ties are a dark chocolate brown color made of a silky, wrinkle-free acetate material. One necktie features a vintage measuring tool similar to a micrometer or caliper in gold embroidery on a dark brown background. The designers tag is located under the tongue of the tie and there is a Mining Club New York City tag stitched on the back. The Mining Club was founded in New York City in 1930. It enjoyed its heyday during the period of the 1940s and 1950s. Tie is 57" in length and 3.75" wide. The second necktie is a solid brown with the designers tag adhered to the back of the tie. The fabric has a textured diagonal ribbing that is so iconic of that era. Tie is 54" in length and 4" wide. Both ties are in excellent vintage condition with no defects noted.
