excellently cared for and nicely broken in vintage wesco lineman boots. these have the internal lineman flap and I replaced the original heel rubber so they won't need resoled immediately. they show some light scuffs, only one major scratch in the leather (see photos)

mattass93 Hi. Could you tell me exactly how old these are? Any squeaks? Can you get a photo of the forefoot region of the insole? I'm super interested in these boots but last time I bought some they were too worn on the insoles and sadly some dishonesty is abound on these aftermarket sites

jexplosion @mattass93 so it looks like the stamp is from 2004, the boots must of been stored for a while they're supple and not dried out. the 9d is probably closer to a normal 9.5 e. I have pictures but I am unsure how to get them to you, posh mark doesn't have a messaging feature outside of transactions

mattass93 @jexplosion not too shabby. Is the sole replaceable or stitched down with the midsole? I'm only confused about the fitting because a newer Wesco job master is apparently true to size, and some vintage is not. I emailed Wesco and they weren't very helpful as to any sizing of boots prior to what's available right now

jexplosion @mattass93 these are stitched through from the stitchdown welt to the sole, I am a 10.5e brannock... 9.5f in franks and nicks. these are probably closer to a 9.5 brannock it's not a crazy high arch so I'd say true to sizeish

mattass93 @jexplosion unfortunately I need it to be a bit smaller. I'm a 9d Brannock and fit 8.5/9 give or take depending on the brands for heritage style boots

jexplosion @smojohunt I can't say first hand but this style construction and with some freshly treated leather I would say they should be fairly water resistant
