Mermaid Halloween Costume

This is a homemade mermaid costume. The skirt has some stretch and an elastic waistband; bottom has a tulle pieces safety pinned around it (could be removed for cleaning or to slightly adjust length etc) The last photo shows how I wore it. I had an additional sheer layer that was part of a fairy costume on for modestly- not included). The shell cups were painted with an iridescent glittery paint and I took a close up where you may want to do a touch up. Lastly there is a thin seaweed-looking boa to drape and similar arm bands. I was about a size small but curvy when I wore this; should fit a size 4-6.. maybe up to an 8 due to the stretch. For reference I’m about 5’3” tall so it’s a fairly petite length if you want it to graze the floor as is.
