kayybeeee9 Hi there! Is it a street 4 or bridal 4? Did you get any alterations? What are your measurements? Thank you! (Ps your pics are GORGEOUSSSS) :):)

vtavitian @kayybeeee9 hi! Thank you so much 🙂 I will double check tonight and let you know what the label size is vs street size and post any more pics I have of the inside label. I did have it altered so that I could be bussed and shortened a bit. I’m 5’-4” and this was me wearing it with 5.25” high heels. The bust area did not need much alteration, it fit like a glove which is one of the reasons I bought it in the first place and the boning under the chest area was not an issue.

vtavitian @kayybeeee9 hi! So the actual dress size is a size 8, size 4 is my usual size, but I would say this dress was altered to be a size “6” street size, because my chest is a little larger. There is also an internal hook inside to hold up the chest boning area and not just a zipper in the back. Adding a photo and will add the measurement details.

vtavitian My usual size for regular dresses is a 4-6 depending on type of dress.

michelep83 Hello! Gorgeous! Is this dress still available? If so, did you have it preserved? Or may I see some recent photos of the color?

vtavitian @michelep83 hi there! Yes its still available and no i did not have it preserved but its been kept in great condition in my closet in garment bag and with clothes protectors. It’s not yellowed AT ALL which i believe is the point of preservation. I can take some current photos and share with you, just give me a couple of days

vtavitian @michelep83 hi Michelle- please see new photos. The color surprisingly has not yellowed much, and was an oyster color (not stark white) to begin with. Also, the skirt/tulle train area was always whiter than the dress itself. There are a couple of stains (one on the interior) and one makeup type stain by the armpit area, and dirt that accumulated at the bottom of the dress where the tulle is from walking outside so the dress definitely need a deep cleaning!

vtavitian Specific companies have the mechanism to do so to restore the dress in original form (as they do with vintage dresses). However, the body of the dress is in tact, no major stain that’s really visible and no tears at all.

vtavitian I factored into my listing price what someone would need to pay to get it professionally dry cleaned and pressed, however, please feel free to make an offer and we can go from there. Either way, I think now that I opened the dress up I’ll be getting it professionally cleaned so I can include that as part of the sale if you’d prefer.
